Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to the website of Yume Japanese Restaurant (“Yume,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website at yumejapaneserestaurant.com (the “Site”), including placing online orders, making reservations, or browsing our menus, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place online orders or make reservations through the Site. Minors may browse the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Online Ordering
When you place an order through our Site or through third-party delivery partners (e.g., UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub), the following terms apply:
- Menu & Pricing: Menu items, descriptions, and prices are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel orders placed at incorrect prices.
- Order Acceptance: Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel orders due to ingredient unavailability, capacity constraints, or suspected fraud.
- Allergen Disclaimer: Our kitchen handles common allergens including but not limited to shellfish, fish, soy, wheat (gluten), eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, and dairy. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, and you assume the risk associated with dining or ordering from our restaurant. In accordance with California Health & Safety Code § 114090.5, allergen information is available upon request at each location.
- Consumption Advisory: Pursuant to California Health & Safety Code, consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Certain menu items, including sashimi, sushi, and tartare, may contain raw or undercooked ingredients.
- Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are available for dine-in service only and are sold in compliance with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations. Valid government-issued identification is required. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any person.
- California Sales Tax: Applicable California state and local sales taxes will be applied to your order in accordance with California Revenue and Taxation Code.

Reservations
Reservations made through the Site are subject to availability. We ask that you arrive within 15 minutes of your reservation time. Reservations may be released after a 15-minute grace period. Large party reservations (6 or more guests) may be subject to a pre-fixe menu or minimum spend requirement, which will be communicated at the time of booking. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance as a courtesy to other guests.

Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, menu designs, and software — is the property of Yume Japanese Restaurant or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.
The Yume Japanese Restaurant name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Yume Japanese Restaurant. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Gift Cards & Promotions
Gift cards and promotional offers are subject to their specific terms and conditions. In accordance with California Civil Code § 1749.5, gift cards sold by Yume Japanese Restaurant do not expire and no inactivity fees will be charged. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except as required by California law (balances under $10 may be redeemed for cash upon request, per Cal. Civ. Code § 1749.45).

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Yume Japanese Restaurant, its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yume Japanese Restaurant and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
